Salesforce for Hootsuite

Connecting

In order to use the Salesforce for Hootsuite integration you must connected it to a Salesforce account. The first time you select Send to Salesforce you will be prompted to authorize access. To do this, you must be able to login to a Salesforce account in your organization. If you don't have access to Salesforce, contact your organization's Saleforce administrator.

To start the process, click Authorize Salesforce. If you are using a Salesforce Sandbox environment for testing, check the Use Salesforce Sandbox before clicking Authorize Salesforce. A new window will open.

Start Authorization

If you are not logged in to Salesforce, you will be prompted to do so. You will then be asked to allow Hootsuite to access Salesforce, click *Allow*. Note, if you have previously accessed the Salesforce from Hootsuite and logged out, this prompt may be skipped.

Authorization

Once you have connected, close the authorization window. The once the app window refresh it will be ready to use.

This is a one time setup, once Hootsuite is connected with Salesforce, you will not need to login to Salesforce again.

If you wish to disconnect from Salesforce, or change the Salesforce account, open the app, and select Disconnect from the ... menu.
